Classroom and Event Support

Assistive Listening Systems and Devices are used to aid people who are hard of hearing. Educational Technology Services (ETS) supports this equipment for classes and events taking place on UC Berkeley's campus.

Assistive Listening System (ALS) Locations

In a number of general assignment classrooms on campus, assistive listening systems have been installed. These are infrared-based  Sennheiser SI 1015 ALS  systems.

The ETS website offers a full list of equipment available in each general classroom information by building and room number. The list indicates ALS availability as well.
