Service Alert: Course Evaluations Login Issues

Issue Resolved

Course Evaluations is experiencing intermittent login issues. (

At about 4:45 on 12/03/2015 CalNet reported a campus-wide CAS single-sign-on outage, which was resolved about 30 minutes later.  Beginning about the same time users of the course evaluation service reported not being able to access the system. We confirmed that the course evaluations outage was occurring separately from the previous CalNet issue. We are working to permanently resolve the issue. Once the issue is resolved, we will also notify students and remind them to submit any outstanding evaluations.

Work Around

In order to workaround the issue, instructors and students please use the following steps:
1) Logout of all campus services at and attempt again to login at
2) Close your browser and reopen it
3) Clear you web browser's cache and delete all cookies, and try logging in again
4) Try using a different web browser, change your web browser's privacy mode feature, and/or try a different device like a smartphone
