bCourses, Clickers, Ally, Course Evaluations, DIY Media, Gradescope, and SuiteC have a new home.
As part of the larger Research, Teaching, and Learning launch project, the digital learning tools and service support offered by the Teaching and Learning Services team will now be aligned with the Digital Learning Services (DLS) unit, with a new name, Learning Environments and Tools (LET), and in support of campus’s emerging Digital Learning Initiative. The LET team will continue to provide the same start of semester support including workshops, consultations, and web-based support. If you have bookmarked a page on the ETS website, your link will automatically be forwarded to the DLS website location.
Classroom Tech Support, Course Capture, Berkeley AV, and many other services will continue on the ETS website. To learn more about these changes, check out the Research, Teaching, and Learning launch project.
Digital Learning Services (DLS) was formed in support of the Digital Learning Initiative and the campus’s emerging Digital Learning Strategy. DLS is home to two teams, who provide services and consultations to faculty in support of their pursuit of effective teaching and learning at Berkeley for face-to-face, blended and fully online courses. Learning Environments & Tools (formerly ETS's Teaching and Learning Services) provides service management, support and consultations for teaching and learning technologies, including bCourses, Online Evaluations of Courses, Clickers, and Ally. Instructional Design & Media services include digital learning design, online program design, online learning strategies, and digital content development. To learn more about the unit visit their website for details of who they are and what they do at Berkeley.
