Cal Day Support
Educational Technology Services (ETS) is proud to take part in Cal Day 2020, which takes place Saturday, April 18. ETS provides support for audio-visual technology on campus and we invite you to take advantage of our Cal Day services.
In keeping with our Cal Day tradition we are offering most of our services free of charge. However, due to the volume of events occurring on Cal Day the scope of our services will be limited to:
Equipment Reservations and Technology Classroom Support
Most GA classrooms with installed audio visual equipment do not require keys.
Audio/Visual requests for Cal Day may be made through our online request form.
Requests must be received on or before Friday, March 13, 2020.
Facility Support
Pimentel Hall
We will have a technician scheduled in Pimentel for all sessions on Cal Day.
Pre-Cal Day training
ETS is happy to provide training on use of equipment in our technology classrooms by appointment leading up to Cal Day. First, review what installed technology may be available in your assigned room by visiting our Classroom Info database. If necessary, you can then schedule a training by emailing berkeleyav@berkeley.edu. Let us know which classroom you’ve been assigned and what technology you plan to use.
Generally, we are not available to make deliveries or setup equipment unless there are special circumstances. ETS will make every effort to accommodate requests on a first-come, first-served basis. All labor will be provided at our hourly recharge rate of $82. It is possible that we will reach capacity before the deadline so be sure to place your reservations early!
Thank you and have a fantastic Cal Day.
